Best Theratronics Ltd. is a Canadian component of TeamBest^®.  Formerly part of MDS Nordion, we became a member of the Best family in March 2008.  We manufacture external beam therapy units and self-contained blood irradiators.

Best Theratronics manufactures two distinct product lines – Self-Contained Irradiators and External Beam Teletherapy Machines.  There are several models of self-contained irradiators, each used for different applications and available in a variety of source configurations based on product throughput requirements.  These include the Gammacell^® 1000 & 3000, Gammacell^® 40, Gammabeam™ X200 and Raycell^® Mk2 devices.

The external beam teletherapy machines are designed to provide advanced therapies to cancer patients worldwide.  There are two types of machines produced.  The Theratron^® Equinox^® is available in an 80 cm and 100 cm configuration and the GammaBeam™ 100 is available in only an 80 cm version.  Also available are the Avanza patient positioning table and the Multileaf Collimator, both common accessories for external beam teletherapy.
